This Pontiac was parked at the local Publix. My best guess is a 1951 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Eight. The only markings simply read “Pontiac Eight.”

Even better at night, the lucite part of that hood ornament is illuminated.
Probably enough steel in this thing to make 20 modern cars.

Yes, it looks like it. My only other guess would be a Chevrolet Avalanche, but I don’t think so.

I noticed the hood ornament with the amber colored face , but did not know that it was illuminated.
